What makes Napa Valley Vending "Green"?
Napa Valley Vending is committed to reducing our impact on the environment. See our Green Initiatives.
Is there a cost for vending service?
Absolutely not! We provide the machines free of charge. We do not charge your company for anything. We set reasonable prices, competitive with local convenience store prices or less and we profit from the sales generated each day.
Do you charge for repair calls?
No. There is no charge for service calls. The belong to us and we repair and maintain them at no cost to you.
What is your response time for service calls?
We will respond to any problems as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.
Can we choose our own products?
Yes. Napa Valley Vending routinely monitors product popularity at each location and we make adjustments to our product mix accordingly. We utilize wireless computer technology to help us determine what products are selling at each individual location. Along with using this raw sales data, we always take your product requests into consideration... after all, it's your vending machine!
Do you offer both Coke and Pepsi?
Yes, when there's space available we will place a Coke and a Pepsi machine on site. When this is not possible due to space restrictions, we can place a generic machine that can sell any combination of brands.
Do we have to sign a contract?
Yes, we have our customers sign a "machine location agreement" which is a simple contract designed to protect both parties.
What are the prices of your snacks and sodas?
The prices of products in the machines are usually the same price and often times less than what you will find in a convenience store. All prices include sales tax and CRV (California Redemption Value).
Do you have machines that can vend fresh food like sandwiches, yogurt, milk, etc?
Yes, we have machines that can vend products like sandwiches, yogurt, milk, burritos, etc. These are called "Cold food machines", and they are ideal for large companies such as manufacturing plants employing several shifts of workers.
What areas do you service?
We service businesses in Napa, Sonoma, Solano, Contra Costa, and Alameda County. If you are outside of these areas, give us a call and we can determine if it's feasible for us to provide service to you. If not, we will always try to recommend a company that we know and trust.
What types of businesses do you service?
We service any and all kinds of businesses. For example, offices, hotels and motels, schools, manufacturing facilities, wineries, hospitals, airports, retails stores, car dealerships, department stores, malls, and more. If you need vending machines, we can service your business.
How much space do the machines need?
Vending machines are about the same size as a typical refrigerator. They measure about 3 feet wide by 3 feet deep and about 6 feet tall. Most lunch rooms can easily fit a snack and soda machine in addtion to your existing refrigerator. If you're not sure if machines will fit, or where they should go, give us a call and we'll come out and determine the best placement for your new vending machines.
How much power does a machine use?
Snack machines use almost no power (about 18 watts for the fluorescent bulb). Soda machines use about as much energy as a typical refrigerator. They are only opened about once a week when we service them, so the cold stays in and the compressor cycles less than a normal fridge. Whenever possible we use energy star rated machines in order to lessen the amount of energy needed to run our machines. In addition, our machines come equipped with a Vending Miser which significantly reduces the amount of energy consumed by our machines.
How often will you service our vending machines?
We will service you machines as often as is necessary. Typically this means once a week, however, we will service your machine two or three times a week or even daily if it needs it. We strive to service machines before there are more than 3 items sold out (snack machines) or 1 selection of drinks sold out. More items sold out than that leaves you with an empty machine (not to mention an empty stomach!) and costs us money in lost sales. It is in our best interest, and frankly a key component of our business model, to keep your vending machines well stocked.
What if one of my employees loses money in the machine? How will you pay the refund?
Everyone's lost money to a vending machine... I know I have, and I know how frustrating it is to get ripped off by a machine! We do everything in our power to keep our machines functioning in top shape to ensure that this doesn't happen to you. When it does, though, we will gladly refund any lost money... no hassles. Drivers can give refunds or we can provide you with a 'bank' for giving refunds immediately (we will repay this bank anytime it needs replenishing).
